Blood Donation Camp

Lahore PR (May 15, 2015): Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Ltd, organized a blood donation camp at its plant located in Lahore with the help of Fatimid Foundation. The drive was aimed at supporting Fatimid Foundation in its cause of meeting blood requirements for children suffering from diseases like Thalassemia, Hemophilia and Leukaemia etc. The donated blood would then be used to provide free of charge transfusions to poor and needy patients. As a socially responsible organization, HACPL completely endorses such great service to the community.

The blood donation camp took place on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Company employees voluntarily contributed for the noble cause. Post-blood donation care was also provided to ensure proper wellbeing of the employees. In recognition of the HACPL volunteers, Fatimid Foundation would issue a Certificate of Service for Humanity to each donor.

Golfer won Honda City Aspire 1.5L securing “Hole in One”

Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited sponsored Honda City Aspire 1.5L “ Hole in One” for prestigious All Pakistan Garrison Golf tournament. Around 400 golfers from all over the country participated in 3 days tournament. Honda displayed cars at the venue. Golfers and visitors shown keen interest in Honda products. Honda Earns Perfect Climate Disclosure Score of 100 Points in CDP Global 500 Climate Change Report 2014

TOKYO, Japan, October 15, 2014 - Honda Motor Co., Ltd. announced that it has earned a perfect climate disclosure score of 100 in the CDP Global 500 Climate Change Report 2014, which analyzes the initiatives of the world’s 500 largest companies in addressing countermeasures against global warming and the disclosure of information regarding greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. With the perfect disclosure score, for the fourth consecutive year, Honda was listed as one of the companies in the CDP’s “Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI),” which names the world’s most advanced companies in the area of disclosures related to global climate change.

Earning a perfect disclosure score indicates that Honda was recognized for its commitment to proper disclosures and the ability to utilize its climate data in making corporate decisions toward the realization of a low carbon society.

Honda Road safety Campaign “Drive safe, Stay Safe” 

2nd October 2014: Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) limited (HACPL) being socially responsible organization has always endeavor to contribute towards the betterment of the society. As a part of the same pledge & promise to society, HACPL undertook another step forward in its initiative of a nationwide campaign on safer roads. HACPL has developed road safety campaign “Drive Safe, Stay Safe” to educate young & future drivers about the importance of road safety. Campaign is aimed at emphasizing the importance of abiding traffic laws, helping to reduce traffic accidents and making the roads safer for everyone. In this Campaign HACPL will conduct a pictorial competition among students of leading schools & art colleges throughout Pakistan and will also conduct seminars on road safety in different educational institutes. In this regard road safety awareness seminar was held in Islamabad in a leading international school where students from A Levels participated enthusiastically. The crux of the seminar was to convince people not to use mobile phone while driving “Don’t text & Drive” as lot of people in our society are habitual of using mobile phone while driving. During seminar interactive quiz was conducted and prizes were awarded to boast the interest of students in road safety.

Honda promoting peace - SWAT Trade Exhibition & Symposium 

30th September 2014: Honda, in collaboration with Pakistan Army & Swat Chambers Of Commerce, organized the SWAT Trade Exhibition & Symposium. The event was organized as a mean of promoting peace with the Pakistan Army. The main purpose of the event was to endorse and encourage local handicrafts and products, while also making it convenient for the people of Swat to get access to national and international markets.

Army officials, general public, representatives of Chambers of Commerce and media people; attended the event from all over the country. The members of Chambers of Commerce showed keen interest in the promotion of a variety of different products from Swat. In the evening, musical nights were organized to entertain the visitors. Stalls of locally made traditional products were displayed along with the range of Honda cars. During the trade symposium, lectures were delivered by intellectuals regarding the economic and trade growth in Swat.

Honda Atlas Cars Holds Free Medical Camp 


In continuance with the efforts for social uplift and welfare of the people belonging to the remote areas of Pakistan. Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited arranged one day free medical camp at Kot Asad Ullah Khan near Dinanath, Multan Road, Lahore. Approximately 750 patients were treated. Moreover, free of cost medicines were provided to patients at medical camp.

A team of professional Doctors and paramedical staff were deputed at the camp that were responsible to provide medical treatment in general health care. Apart from medical facilities, the local population was also oriented regarding personal & children health care, hygiene, sanitation and prevention from common diseases.

Honda – President of Pakistan Polo Trophy 2014


Lahore PR: Saturday, May 10th saw the final day of the hard fought Honda – President of Pakistan Polo Trophy, 2014, sponsored by Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited (HACPL). A large crowd flocked to the Rawalpindi Polo club from all walks of life to witness this prestigious event, and also to see the two teams battle it out to claim the tournament. It was a perfect day for polo, as regulars from the circle made their way to the lush and perfectly trimmed grounds beautifully branded by Honda with CR-Z (Sports Hybrid), Aspire 1.5, Civic and Honda brand car displayed in all their glory, to enhance the ambiance of the event. The final match was between 10 Corps Blue and the Army Remounts, where the latter emerged victorious by a thin margin, with a score of 3-5. At the end of the match the chief guest Lieutenant General Khalid Nawaz Khan (Ex Corps Commander, Rawalpindi) distributed prizes amongst the winning team. Honda aims to continue to support such sporting events in the future as well.

Honda has planted 10,000 trees nationwide through its “You Buy Honda, We Plant a Tree” activity

As a part of the same pledge HACPL undertook another initiative of a nationwide tree plantation activity. The tree plantation activity was part of Honda’s ‘you buy a Honda, we plant a tree’ campaign. In collaboration with its 3S dealers, Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited planted another 10,000 trees bringing the total number of planted trees to 23,200. This tree plantation activity was undertaken in clubs, Universities, Schools and Parks of all major cities. Honda Launches Stylish Sports Hybird CR-Z in Pakistan

Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited launched the first sport hybrid CR-Z at a colorful event in Lahore in presence of press & electronic media. The event was attended by Mr. Takeharu Aoki, President & CEO Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited, along with the company management.

CR-Z, the sleek two-door coupe will appeal to a younger set or empty nesters who want a "green" car with a bit of pizazz. CR-Z offers three drive modes: sport, normal and economy. Sport mode enhances the car's performance, while economy mode maximizes fuel economy.

Explaining the product Mr. Ayaz Hafeez General Manager Sales & Marketing said that the CR-Z is powered by a 1.5 L iVtec engine with Honda's integrated Motor Assist (IMA) hybrid-electric system. The system delivers a combined peak output of 134 bhp at 6,600 rpm with a Plus Sport System, the "S+" button on the steering wheel can be used to deliver increased acceleration. CRZ offers a range of exciting features, bright colors and is available with 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission.

Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited celebrated its 20th Anniversary on 10th December, 2013. Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited is a joint venture between Honda Motor Company Limited Japan, and the Atlas Group of Companies, Pakistan. The company was incorporated and a joint venture agreement was signed in 1993.

The grand 20th Anniversary event took place at the Honda Factory in Lahore. The guest of honor was Mr. Takanobu Ito, the President of Honda Japan, accompanied with Mr. Hiroshi Kobayashi President Asian Honda & Managing office Honda Japan and Mr. Yoshiyuki Matsumoto Managing officer Honda Motor Japan especially flown to Lahore to participate in the celebration

Mr. Yusuf H. Shirazi, Chairman Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan and Mr. Takeharu Aoki, President of Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited, welcomed the distinguished guests along with the whole Honda family from the associate workers, vendors to the dealers. 20 years history of Honda in Pakistan with its steady success in the market was shown to the participants followed by spectacular car show as Honda cars starting from 1994-2012 were one by one brought in, introduced and taken away. There were a total of 8 cars, which included Civic models from 1994, 1996, 2001, 2006 & 2012 and the 1997, 2003 & 2009 City models. All the old cars were in perfect condition, which made the show more special. In the end of car show a modified Honda City sport version named Brand Car was also displayed which was prepared in Pakistan as an idea for modifications to sporty car lovers.

Honda Vendor Conference 2013 ‘Together’

The annual Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited Vendor Conference 2013 took place on 31st October at a local hotel in Lahore. President/CEO Mr. Takeharu Aoki and the Vice President Production Mr. Akio Takemoto along with the management were present at the event.

The conference brought a few facts to life, which showed that Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited achieved 2nd highest sales of Honda Civic in the Asia & Oceana region, also how Honda Civic is being tagged as ‘King of cars’ and that Honda Pakistan had shown an overall sales growth by 86% in 2013 over last year. Further, there is also a substantial increase in localization of both Civic & City.

Mr Takemoto appreciated the efforts of Auto parts manufacturers for their support in achieving this high localization. He further emphasized on Honda’s commitment to excel localization with the support of vendors by saying that “We need to move ahead to grow Together”.

Also speaking on the occasion the President Mr. Takeharu Aoki thanked the vendors for their participation, he further went on to commend the perpetual support provided by all vendors and highlighted as well as recognized the pivotal role of vendors in Honda Pakistan’s constant growth in the regional market.

Honda introduces the new Accord: Possibly Perfect

Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) has launched the much-anticipated new version of the Honda Accord. The car is currently being showcased in PC Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi as well as The Marriott Islamabad.

The Accord has been the premium luxury model in the Honda line up that has always been a striking union of class leading features with the modern style. This model, not only carries on the pedigree of it predecessors, in fact it has taken it closer to perfection.

In terms of styling, the exterior is rested on 18-inch alloy rims. The front and rear lights accentuate the fusion of luxury with current times. Honda introduced the new Honda City Aspire 1.5L

Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) launched the new Honda City Aspire with a 1.5-liter engine at a press briefing held at their Factory in Lahore on the 17th of April.

The Aspire has always been the luxury model of the Honda City with add-ons for the savvy customers. With the introduction of the Aspire 1.5 it aims to provide more muscle to the star of the fleet.

Mr. Takeharu Aoki, The President and CEO of the company gave an overview of Honda and its attention to creating technology that is at the forefront of innovations. He spoke about the milestones attained with the patronage of our valued customers. He also explained the ongoing environment campaign carried out by Honda with the slogan “YOU BUY A HONDA WE PLANT A TREE”, where Honda will plant a tree against the sale of each car. Honda introduces another first of its kind in Pakistan with their new “You buy a car, we plant a tree” initiative. Mr. Takeharu Aoki, President and CEO of Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited inaugurated this new drive at factory premises by planting a tree. This year, Honda will plant a tree on the customer’s behalf for every car that is sold.

Honda has always cared for the environment with its industry leading Euro 4 emission standard on all Honda cars which gives the least emissions of any car manufacturer in Pakistan. With this new move, Honda aims to give back to nature even more.

Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) launched the much anticipated new model Civic in press conference held in Lahore on 18th.

Speaking at the occasion, Chairman Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Ltd , Mr. Yusuf H. Shirazi reiterated his confidence in Pakistan and its economic potential. He underlined that at Honda Atlas quality is an attitude aimed at winning customer acceptance, trust and goodwill, gains being a long term objective. A direct contribution of 19 Billion (1.15% of the total tax collection) to government exchequer by the group in addition to indirect was mentioned. He drew attention towards the inconsistent government policies, pointing out import of used cars which not only fleeced the customers but also retards industrial development. He said that the used cars import fill pockets of a few opportunists against the long term investments made by the automobile industry. He emphasized that Honda is all about accepting challenges, but let the challenge be fair, even and contributive in nature.

Mr. Takeharu Aoki, The President and CEO of the company gave an overview of Honda and its attention to creating technology that is at the forefront of innovations. He spoke about the milestones attained and hardships faced by Honda Atlas Car. Pride of producing the 200,000th car in July this year, inconsistent government policies and the retarding effect used cars import causes were highlighted. Earlier the new model Civic was introduced by Mr. Ayaz Hafeez, GM Sales & Marketing. Enhanced aerodynamics, elegant simplicity of exterior design, and enriched ergonomically designed sophistication of the new interior where explained.

Honda achieves milestone of 200,000 units’ production

Lahore PR: Associates at Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited had a reason to celebrate as the Japanese automaker added another chapter to its achievement books by rolling out its 200,000th unit. Behind the success are loyal customers backed by workforce that has worked tirelessly at Honda’s production facility to achieve this milestone.

The celebration event was attended by Mr. Hiroshi Kobayashi, President of Asian Honda Motor and Chief Operating Officer of Honda Asia & Oceania region. Who while speaking on the occasion extended his profound gratitude to all valued customers who stood by Honda in critical times arising out of Japan Tsunami and floods in Thailand. He thanked all Honda customers for making it possible to achieve the landmark of 200,000th unit production. He also appreciated the efforts of all Honda associates who challenged all adversities through no production period. He further said that Honda Pakistan will continue to raise the bar for itself to achieve 300,000 units target in shortest possible time.

One year has passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011. Honda would like to express its deepest sympathy and condolences to the victims of the disaster and our sincere hopes for the earliest possible reconstruction of the affected areas.

Despite the fact that we caused our customers some inconvenience during the past year due to the impact of the earthquake, such as delays in the delivery of some new products, we received a great outpouring of support and heartwarming messages from our friends and customers inside and outside of Japan.
