The CR-V steps up the pleasure of driving. Featuring a formidable 2.4L DOHC i-VTEC engine, it delivers high levels of torque at all engine speeds. Along with this, the CR-V has Drive-By-Wire (DBW) throttle, which enables better communication between the engine and transmission for a smoother drive. The 5-speed automatic transmission with Grade Logic Control monitors throttle position, vehicle speed and acceleration/deceleration to determine when climbing power or engine braking is needed. This prevents gear hunting and improves drivability and fuel economy.
