In addition to efficient i-VTEC engineering, Honda's new system further enhances fuel economy and limits unnecessary fuel use by partially halting the action of some cylinders through freely controlled engine displacement. Active control engine mounting cancels out annoying engine vibration, and active noise control system ensures silence in the cabin by producing a noise- canceling tone from the speaker and reducing the muffled engine sound stemming from unused cylinders.

This remarkable new vehicle also contributes to environmental protection through application of greener materials and a higher recycling rate.
